Our Team:

The Ergonomics team is part of Vehicle Performance Engineering Division. 
We are responsible for the Ergonomics including Seat performance of our products,
meaning that we make sure that all Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in Europe are in line with the customers,
their sizes, their usage and their expectations.
The scope of our job is:
Vehicle Packaging (Seating posture, Driving position, Roominess)
Controls usability ( Seat operation, Instrument panels)
Field Of View and Visibility
HMI(Human Machine Interface), GUI(Graphic User Interface)
Seat comfort(Posture, Pressure destribution, Vibration, Holding)


Your Challenge:

Defining or updating the criteria
Set the targets before vehicle development
Negotiate with designers during the development
Confirm the actual vehicles’ performance before production
Monitor the press and the customers’ voice during the vehicles’ lifetime
Bench marking & research activity with EU market
Technical development of vehicle experimentation
Package/Operation analysis by CAE simulation.

Place of Employment: Toyota Motor Europe Technical Centre, Zaventem

Your Assets:

Either Ergonomist / Pshychologist, or Engineer (Biomedical, Biomechanical or Electronics)
Language: fluent English is a must
PC knowledge (Microsoft Office), CATIA knowledge is a plus
Good communicator, happy to work in a multi-cultural environment
Open minded, with interest on different cultures and uses
